Childhood Music Classes
Music plays a vital role in child development. Music exposure at a young age not only enhances a child’s development, but has a significant impact on broadening their vocabulary.
Our Bass Clef Group (ages 3 – 5 years) will allow children to explore and engage with a variety of musical mediums such as bells, triangles, blocks and body percussion.
Our Treble Clef Group (ages 6 – 7 years) classes provides students with the opportunity to delve into a deeper understanding of all musical instruments whilst incorporating the basics of music theory in a fun manner.
Theory
Theory (Free for registered students) Music theory allows the students in understanding and producing the music, more easily. All students of the academy can have theory lessons with no fee charge.
Piano
Piano is the most basic instrument in the music industry. Piano lessons are available from a very young age. Lessons are available from a beginner level to advanced levels.
Clarinet
Clarinet is a single reed instrument that belongs to the woodwind family. It has a wide range of pitches and can be played in different ensembles and as a solo instrument.
Flute
Flute is aerophone woodwind instrument that produces a clear and bright sound. A flute an orchestral instrument as well as a solo instrument.
Violin
Violin is a wooden stringed instrument which has the highest pitch in the string instrument. Violin plays an important role in the orchestra and is used in many genres of music. Violin can be played from a young age.
Recorder
Recorder is a woodwind instrument known as a ‘horizontal flute’. It is regarded as an ‘easier’ version of the woodwind instrument. Recorder can be started from a very young age.
Brass (Trumpet, Horn)
Brass instruments are wind instruments that are made of brass or metal. The sound is produced through the vibration of the player’s lips. The different brass instruments taught at the academy are French horn, and trumpet.
